"Exactly what we were looking for ... a wonderful charming cottage with everything we needed. Lots of space for everyone and the bunkies are great for spreading out. We love the fall and did enjoy a little quieter time of year. All had a great time in the water and we did some fishing ... everybody had a great time. Will make this a regular family gathering !!"

"We were excited about our stay at Rice Lake! But the house had a few problems and it made our stay less enjoyable. The small A/C unit is located in the living room area and not in the bedrooms. So every night was hot, and unable to cool the rooms properly. Second problem was the washer failed on the 2nd day of our stay and the owners did not fix the problem. "The property is beautiful and the inside looks nice but that’s where the positive ends. Upon arrival at 4:00 we could not enter because there was a cleaner there still cleaning. Upon entry, a half hour later, the floors were soaking wet and slippery. The garbages were not empty in the bathrooms. The bedding was not freshly laundered. "The place is amazing for family. Plenty of outdoor options. The view is amazing from the cottage. If you are an outdoor person this is a place to stay. The cottage has all the amenities as listed. Ryan the host is very friendly and responds to questions immediately as well. "
