"Beautiful view. Water heater was great. We appreciated the communication in English. Well lighted bathrooms. The stepping stones used as stairs are uneven, some wobbly, and no hand rails, which made them very UNSAFE. The home needs a new latch on the gate and a handle on the patio door. The downstairs was dusty and many spider webs. Drapes or blidownstairs"

"We enjoyed our stay in Waldstatt. The house was in a nice location for us to travel to various places in the region. We do wish there had been a charcoal or gas grill and a dryer. The kitchen was very nice and very well stocked will all the items we needed. The children enjoyed the bunk beds."

"It's really at top of the world. The cottage is at the top of Nessalu mountain top. Excellent if you want to spend time in nature. It's difficult to find so contact the owner before you go there. Owner is very friendly and very helpful. She knows only German, but she was really nice to use Google translate to talk. I want to really thank her for that. I think it's good for a group 10-15 people. But it will be amazing for a couple too."

"The house was in a beautiful location overlooking much of Lake Lucerne and the surrounding mountains. It was a luxury stay on 3 levels with a sauna and jacuzzi and well appointed kitchen. Seélisberg is difficult to access so a car is really necessary but very much worth getting 1/2 an hour from Lucerne and using it as a launching point to explore the area on foot, by funicular and ferry. A very enjoyable stay."

"Ein wunderbarer Ort um kurz abzuschalten. Das Haus und die Küche sind sehr gut eingerichtet und sehr heimelig. Der gesamte Garten ist eingezäunt für Hunde/Kinder und es hat sehr bequeme Liegestühle. Es liegt zwar direkt an der Strasse, wenn man aber hinten raus sitzt und die Schlafzimmer hinten raus hat ist es absolut kein Problem. Gerne wieder!"

"Very spacious for a family of 9 members. Far enough from the city to enjoy from the quietness of the place. The view of the mountain range and the community is breathtaking. "Where do I start? If I could give this place a zero rating I would. In Oct 2023, we booked this property for a 3 night stay in Mar 2024. We never heard from the owner before we arrived with any check-in details. We reached out to him a number of times but no reply. We contacted VRBO to let them know that we had not heard from the owner and VRBO tried contacting him and also did not hear back.
