The Alex delivers it all: An attentive an accommodating staff, clean and spacious rooms, excellent location just outaide of the city (but a 5-10 minute walk to the train station) great views overlooking the lake, i could go on. Will definitely be staying here again when i come back to Switzerland."

"We stayed here for a night to look around the town. The hotel is well located with an underground ar park and is about 5-10 minutes walk from the old town and lake. Our room was a good size with plenty of power sockets and working USB outlets. It was a no frills room but everything we needed, clean and modern. The shower was excellent and the bed was comfortable. Staff were wonderful and the check in was lovely. There’s also a nice lounge too. Parking was 30CHF for the underground car park...

But its the view that takes it all the way to the top of the list. Im regretting only staying one night to break up my journey home. "

"Just to keep things in perspective, the issues I had seemed to be temporary due to construction but none the less what I experienced. The room was extremely hot. When I called down to the front desk to ask about it, they told me it was a known issue and should be fixed the next day. It was very hot for a couple days and then a little more managable the rest of the week but I had to keep the balcony door open the entire time (Febuary) just to keep the room at a manageable temp.
