Lake Tarawera is a Scenic Reserve located 20 minutes southeast of Rotorua. The Lake is well known for stunning scenery, trout fishing, water sports and bush walks and is a great base from which to explore all the other lakes as well as mountain biking in the Redwoods Forest.
