GREAT SPOT! The room was very modern and comforable with all the necessities: comfy bed, small refriegrator, microwave, keurig, table with chairs and a nice big tv. The bathroom has body wash, shampoo and conditioner and a nice vibe. It was so cozy. The staff is not on-site - you let yourself into your room with a unique code but the staff was super helpful and quick to respond to questions. Location is great, 5 minute walk to the end of main street and all the yummy restaurants and cool shops. Highly recommend and would stay again.

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights and for just the 2 of us it was good. The rooms are very basic but super clean. The walls are extremely thin and you can hear everything in the next room. We were on the first floor and we heard every footstep that the people above us made so staying here with children or if you are a light sleeper may not be suitable for you. It was nice that the shower had full bottles of shampoo, conditioner and body wash. There was also a blow dryer, fridge, freezer, keurig coffee pot and microwave in the room. It was a little odd that there was no front desk but when we did have to text the owners for more pillows, the housekeeper did bring them rather quickly. We were able to walk into town which was nice. While you are able to park right in front of your room, the spots are a little small so there was a few times when we had to park on the backside of the motel because cars were taking up 2 spots. If the motel was sold out I am not sure there would be enough parking for all of the cars. We would stay there again if it is was just the 2 of us.

I stayed in room 10, the room looked nice upon arrival. I did not have time to check things out when I just got there due to having to be at a church mass for my dad at 5:30. When I got back to my room at 9 after dinner. I was getting ready for bed & would have liked to sleep in the bed closest to the door & it was uneven I’m not sure if it was off the platform? So went to the other bed pulled down the blanket & there was black lint fuzz in the bed!The bed was very uncomfortable & hard ,pillows were flat. In the bathroom on the back of the back splash my the sink was blue toothpaste! Refrigerator was questionable if it was wiped down. The 2 things that were nice was the tv I had it on the fireplace setting from YouTube & the coffee maker.

This property is in a good location - up the street from the start of Main Street. Our room was clean and the staff was friendly. I would recommend this hotel to others.

This hotel was so perfect for our stay! It was very quiet, clean, easily accessible, not too many rooms so it wasn’t crowded, and in the perfect location! It’s easy to get to the main strip of lake placid and to other towns you’d want to visit. We had 2 dogs with us and it was perfect for them! We will definitely be back to this hotel and recommend it to anyone!

This has got to be the cleanest hotel we have ever stayed in! Rooms are so clean. Never have we stayed here and had any issues, I have asthma and have to be careful with cleaning products, fabric softeners and I have never had an issue here! Check in is so easy, staff is very accommodating, this is our favorite place to stay. Will definitely return.

We checked into our room at about 4:30pm, noticed both beds looked like they were slept in and then made. There was dog hair, human hair, and a little brown stains on the bed linen. The table had drink and food stains. The TV wasn't working. We called the hosts and didn't get a response; realized instructions stated that texting would get us a quicker reply. So we texted with an explanation of the issue, and someone texted back within 5 minutes to say they would be sending the house keeper, and another person to fix the TV. They said the house keeper would get to the property within 1.5 hours, and we would be informed once they got a hold of the TV person. My partner and I decided to go out for food thinking that by the time we got back, the issue would either be resolved, or close to it. When we got back 2hrs later, we realized no one had came. I reached out to the host again by text and was told the housekeeper was on the way, but they couldn't get ahold of the TV person. We waited patiently for about another hour or two, feeling quite uncomfortable, unable to watch TV, unwilling to sit / lie on the bed. Again, i texted the host. By now, it was after 9pm and we were tired. I decided to ask if we could get another room before this grew into frustration. The host called me, told me there was a similar room available 2 doors down, and we changed our room. Koodos for resolving, but I'm surprised it wasn't offered. Still, the property is beautiful, peaceful, affordable.
