My phone ran out of memory trying to document
There was so many things wrong it is hard to prioritize. Spider webs, dirty sponges, broken/stained furniture. Divots in the walls, exposed wires, host/manager turned off phone, no assistance with clearing snow, parking questionable. Kitchen completely disorganized. Toilet wobbled, shower dripped (both). It is hard to imagine it would pass any code inspections. We were completely stunnned by the almost uninhabitable condition. Took many pictures to document but ran out of memory. Unfortunately there were no reviews at the time of reservation. Did see reviews prior to arrival and packed our own bedding, kitchen linens and paper products. Was unable to cxl reservation prior to arrival or locate alternate rental. OMG!!

The pics of inside & location were accurate however the listing states that it’s a house and it was a downstairs’ apartment with a group of young adults in the upstairs. One bathroom had a very loose, wobbly toilet that didn’t flush for at least half of our stay and a dripping shower off the main bedroom loud enough to keep us awake at night. There were few paper towels, no kitchen towels or coffee cups but had two coffee makers. None of these items would warrant a poor review on their own but unfortunately the combo of all made it a less than favorable stay. This is sad as we really enjoyed Lake Placid and all ot has to offer.

Great Location!
We had a great stay, this rental made it easy to walk to restaurants and olympic museum. Really enjoyed our time in Lake Placid, great skiing and great food! Beds were comfy and unit was very clean, thank you for having us!

The only thing charming about this property is the proximity to the charming Main Street in Lake Placid. Upon arrival, the parking area was not shoveled/plowed and we had to find a shovel to remove snow to get our car into the “free parking.” The 3 bedroom apartment has terrible lighting, no ventilation, and the bathrooms have old leaky showers and barely connected toilets. The kitchen is lacking basics - there isn’t a single coffee mug provided - and the refrigerator wasn’t working when we got there (we found the circuit breaker and figured it out). All thermostats were set at 80 degrees when we arrived and we immediately turned them down because it was so warm. Later that night we found out that if any heat comes on (set at 60), the sound of the heating system meant constantly being awakened - we went without heat at night thereafter. The beds are fine but the pillows are awful (we all have stiff necks). The television never worked, the WiFi was weak and intermittent, and the washing machine and dryer were gross (we may have been the first people to clean the lint collector). The apartment was near White Face, which we skiied for two days and totally enjoyed. We would not return to this apartment and don’t recommend it.

I don't like that we couldn't see where the property was until we paid for it. But i guess that is a VRBO thing? Right on Rt 73. TV had issues, but we contacted host and they offered to come fix the problem. But good location if you want to walk downtown in lake placid. Close to Adirondack Loj Road.

Prévoir des ustensiles de cuisine et des chiffons. Il n'y a pas de ventilation pour la cuisine. Prévoir de bonnes pantoufles, le plancher est très froid. Bien situé, assez de place pour 8.
