Character on Capell

When you arrive at Character on Capell you will be transported back in time, where life is easy and the good times roll!
This uniquely, quirky home has everything you need for a fun, relaxed family stay that is only a short walk down to the stunning Lake Hawea.
If you are coming here to go boating, biking, walking or just to chill out on the generous deck, you won’t be disappointed.
Character on Capell offers two stories. Upstairs, you will find the kitchen, living room, bathroom and three bedrooms, each with queen beds that take advantage of the impressive lake and mountain views.
The large deck opens straight out from the comfortable living area where you can catch the sunshine and enjoy the beautiful landscape. If it’s a bit cooler and you’d like to cosy up, then there is a fire with a tv and board games to enjoy.
If you are wanting to bring extended family or friends, there is a large downstairs room with a King bed and two double bunks, as well as a pool table. There is also a laundry with an extra shower.

The driveway is wide and offers great parking space for cars and boats. This space is also shared with a tiny house that is on the same property.
It is a 2-minute drive to launch boats at the Lake Hawea Boat Ramp and if you would like a coffee or something tasty before launching, the Food Truck and Bar is open in Summer at the Hawea campground.
