Bachelor Party Headquarters
For my bachelor party we all stayed here and it was a great homebase. Kitchen was great and had all the tools we needed. Everything was clean and the house felt really great to be in. We were all saying how much we wanted to come back.

We enjoyed our time at Lake Harmony area. The rental was perfect for us. The house was very clean. We loved the quiet, wooded location. We enjoyed watching the deer and turkey.

Pocono Golf Trip
This retreat was perfect for our group! We were on our second annual golf trip. The house was clean, laid out well, and very cozy. It met all our needs and was in a prime location for golf courses and dining down at Lake Harmony! Would recommend!

Weekend Getaway
We had such a wonderful time staying at your place! The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you could need for cooking a big family meal. All of the instructions for EVERYTHING were clearly labeled and straightforward. We were able to use the projector which was awesome! Thank you for being so thoughtful and thorough with all the amenities, we would love to come back next year!

Beautiful home and a perfect location for our family ski trip. Bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. The open floor plan gave us plenty of room to all be together. Great panoramic views.

Lovely Place!
My family and I really enjoyed our stay here. The house is big and spacious. LOTS of windows and natural light. Very homey and comfortable. The decor is cute and clean. I liked how the instructions were printed and framed and placed neatly around the house. It rained most of our trip so we didn’t really get to enjoy the back deck and gazebo until our last night. The few times we were able to get out we watched a family of deer walking through. The kids loved it. We would definitely stay here again and hopefully get to enjoy the outdoor movie screen!

Great mountain cabin
We had a great stay at this Poconos cabin. It is perfect for two families. It is in a great location - close to skiing, groceries, Lake Harmony - but is also private. The home is well appointed, comfortable, and a great retreat. The deck is amazing. The hosts are also the most responsive hosts I have ever had, and really worked hard to make sure we had a great stay. Thank you very much!

Amazing Poconos getaway
Our stay was fantastic! The house is beautiful, so relaxing and peaceful. Enjoy a cup of coffee or tea with views all around! The fire is beautiful too when its lit keeps the cabin extra cozy!! Will be staying/renting again. Highly recommend!!

A perfect Poconos retreat in a private neighborhood
We greatly enjoyed our stay in Lake Harmony at this beautiful country cabin. The home was perfectly cozy yet large enough to accommodate 2 families for a ski weekend. We loved the warm wood stove and large windows letting natural light surround you as well as the ability to catch glimpses of deer passing by. The beds were comfortable and the home was filled with many amenities. We appreciated the proximity to the ski resorts and grocery store as well. Thank you for helping us make a great Poconos memory!

Great Getaway
This property was awesome for our super long family weekend. 6 adults, 2 kids, and a dog made out great in this house. So much was provided including instructions on best use of the house, much appreciated! The deer often joined our porch coffee in the mornings. 😍

Over all stay was nice. The beds were a bit hard but all in all it was nice and quiet. I wouldn't recommend this property for people that have issues with stairs. The back porch was nice and the cabin was decorated very nice

The house was nice, but we were not about to sleep. There were animal noise going up and down between the floors and ceilings at night. Keep us up all night. Sound like a rat it squirrels running around.

Super clean, spacious, and comfortable home in a peaceful location.
Host and hostess were thoughtful in all the amenities they provided with their home. We had beautiful weather for the most part and really enjoyed the deck areas. We had to contact Annie who was really nice and answered the phone on one ring. We had a great time and would rent again. We also really appreciated being able to bring our pet.

Private location close to ski slopes
The owners have a beautiful home in a location that is very private. Lot’s of deer visited us everyday hoping for a treat of fresh fruit or vegetables. The home is well appointed inside. Lot’s of room for our family of 10. The living area is cozy and has a nice view of the outdoors because of all the windows. My family loved our stay and appreciated how clean the home is maintained. Make sure you bring some wood to enjoy the wood burning stove!

Birthday Weekend
Our stay was very nice, the house was well put together and cozy. The property is in a nice location and we loved the privacy. It was great for what we needed it for. If you plan to stay in this cabin, we would suggest bringing a foam mattress topper unless you like to sleep on a hard mattress. It was nice that the towels and linens are provided as well as shampoo, conditioner and body wash. The back deck was peaceful and we did spend some time in the Gazebo at night with the bistro lights on. It's a good place to relax and watch nature. We were a little disappointed that we couldn't park in the driveway due to the fact that one of our guests had a back issue. So I wouldn't recommend this place to someone that has handicap issues. That being said, we did enjoy our time together as a family and we would definitely stay there again.

Great stay for our group!
We booked this stay to celebrate my birthday and it was a very pleasant experience. We are very much city people and felt very comfortable. The heat inside was fantastic, hot water in the showers was wonderful, and the rooms were tidy. There are a few points to note. 1. The projector was not available during our stay. We later noticed that the projector was a seasonal offering but one that was a deciding factor for selecting this location over others. It would have been nice to have. 2. The water was turned off when we arrived but the property manager, Annie, was very attentive via text and we were able to get it turned on within the first hour of our stay. 3. The dishes weren't super clean. This could be a ME thing as I'm very particular but I noticed many "clean" cups and dishes were smudged or had a slight smell. Again, not a huge deal but something to note. 4. The television was spotty. Even connecting to my own streaming service the screen would freeze and was unresponsive to the remote. We would eventually unplug the TV and it would be fine. We were still able to watch movies in the evening (big thing for our group) but had to joke about not touching the controls as to not disturb the clear picture. Overall, this was great experience for our group which ranged from 18-74 years of age. We would definitely recommend to others and possibly stay again.

Family Fall Foliage Getaway
Our extended family ranging in age from 16 months to 70+ and a dog recently stayed at The Hilltop Hideaway. The well appointed home was large enough so that no one felt crowded, yet is cozy and comfortable. The main floor public rooms are flooded with daylight, offering views into the trees and the nature that surrounds. We were greeted daily by the neighborhood deer - the kids loved that aspect.Our initial concern reviewing the photos was that the dining table was undersized and would not accommodate everyone, however the hosts have a drop down table/ sideboard which may be combined with the dining table and seat a crowd.The hosts have considered little details throughout, from small step stools for the little ones in each bathroom, fold up tv tray tables and a card table, an assortment of boards games, the 2 electronic video games, a toddler bed, multiple fold up cots, a large pet crate, pet food bowls and pet litter bags, and extra blankets and towels.We did not utilize the exterior movie screen, but did partake in the outdoor fire pit (with provided firewood and marshmallow roasting sticks) and large, elevated deck. Be sure to bring your s'mores ingredients.As mentioned in the description, access to the house is down a series of steps then up a few steps to the main entrance, and a few hundred feet from the parking area (parking is not allowed in the driveway close to the house). This could be an issue in inclement weather or for those with mobility issues, but was a nice feature for us, as the cars were not the first thing you see looking out the windows.All in all, we had a fun-filled, relaxing family weekend! Thank you to the hosts, Nadine and Jack, for sharing your special getaway with others. You've created a wonderful, special retreat!

Great property and flexible
We really enjoyed our time at this house. There were 9 of us and we were comfortable. The property owners were very flexible as well. When our dog sitter fell through at the last minutes we were able to bring her along. The house was well equipped for our dog. The house is very well maintained. You wouldn't know that the house was pet friendly. The property manager was very responsive.
