West Texas is really cool. I would spend more time in Big Bend and more time at Terlingua Ghost Town. I would also take advantage of the outdoor activities like horse back riding, atv's, rafting/SUPs etc.

"We loved staying in the house. We were traveling with another family and our kids loved running around and exploring the area. House has pretty much everything you need and there's a general store really close. State park is practically next door and worth exploring. Big Bend NP is not too far either. ..."

Mountain Biking Weekend
"Great house. Solid, spacious and quiet with a big covered back porch and an amazing view. Right next to the resort and an easy mountain bike ride to the State Park trails and the airport trails. Manny was an excellent host. Hope to stay there again next year!"

Lajitas is the ultimate isolated paradise, if you're passionate about golf, the outdoors and the Big Bend Scenery. The West Texas historical touches add so much authenticity as well, that you feel like you're truly experiencing a blast to the past.
