"The house is lovely, well appointed and spacious. Walking path was accessible from ocean side and ocean swimming area very close. James was super accommodating and informative. Weather was not swimming weather but sitting poolside with a book and a glass of wine soaking in the evening rays and listening to the ocean waves crashing was most enjoyable."

"This was our favorite place on our trip to the Azores. Harald was very welcoming, and the house itself was immaculate, well equipped and in a nice quiet location. There was even a marked walking trail down to Sao Roque within a few blocks of the house."

"Our hosts were amazing! They left us a welcome basket that served us very well for our late arrival and for the entire week. We’ve had three rentals and they were the only ones that did that. The view and location, near a natural swimming hole, worked very well for us."

"What a great host and the setting was absolutely heavenly. We came so my wife and daughters experience Pico as it was the home of my Avo and Ava who where from Lages do Pico and they get to know there heritage. We will return again for a much longer stay and the people of the Pico are warm and friendly will to assist.
