"This was an absolutely stunning place. I was not paying attention to the fact that it is not in El Nido proper, so I didn't get enough time to actually enjoy it, but I do highly recommend staying here if a hideaway cabin literally on the beach and away from civilization is what you are looking for"

"Initially had a family room but staff were able to give me queen room after 2 nights so that was great. It is a comfortable budget hotel with a free breakfast. The only thing I would mention is the breakfast is cold each morning. Staff were great though and very helpful. "

"Cute property. Very accessible to restaurants, bars and shopping. Also beach where you meet for tours A-D close by. Room extremely small. Aircon good. WiFi did not work in our room but worked in lobby area. Area had couches and chairs so not a problem. At night could hear music while in our room, but they offer earplugs. Overall enjoyable stay. "

"This location is a little out of the from the main thoroughfare but provides attentive staff and cleanliness. Unfortunately we had to content with a clogged bathroom sink from the very start. Coronado was very helpful in trying to fix this problem."

"Vi ankom til en mudret byggeplads uden varsel. Turen derhen var besværlig, og beliggenheden var ikke god, men nærmere elendig, sammenlignet med det der står i beskrivelsen. Badeværelset lugtede, var klamt, bruser var ubrugelig pga. vandtrykket var så lavt. Værelsesvæggene var også klamme og beskidte. Indgang til værelserne var jordede og ofte mudret, som man tager med ind på værelset. "

Hotels.com does not support you with any refund, they don‘t care that they have properties on their website which doesn‘t exist. I book around 150-180 rooms per year and I can only suggest you to not book this property since your money will be gone."

"A stay at the Vue Grand Hilltop is a wonderful experience. As the name suggests you'll enjoy great views over the neighboring islands and you can actually watch the sunrise from your bed. All the bungalows are built in traditional style, all wood and with great natural ventilation. Not having air-con was never a problem. "We had a nice stay. The room was clean and calm. The staff is nice. Hotel location is not in city centre, that is good, because is more calm there and in a short walk, 10 min we are in city centre. We would come back"

"The location is in the town proper, the owner and staff of the property were so nice, helpful, kind and willing to assist us in every way they can to make our stay worth in El Nido. They provide all the info we need from all our queries"

"spend one night there with my girlfriend. we had an amazing evening and day there. there are also a few empty beaches that u can reach with the kayak in the area. really romantic and clean place. can't say any negative about this place. check in was around 3pm, then 40 min drive with boat and check out was around 3:30pm on the island. so we spend 24 hours there and got 3 meals that are included in the price. lovely staff, makes u don't want to leave this place. "

"The resort was about 10 minutes away from the main part of el nido. We loved that it was quiet. The beach and views were beautiful. Staff was very friendly and accommodating and could be reached in a timely matter. We were only able to stay one night, but we wished we could stay longer!"

Amazing stay

"We had an amazing time at the Cauayan. We loved everything about it, the setting, the outstanding level of service, the nature surrounding it, the privacy. I particularly loved seeing turtles and baby sharks while snorkelling on the beach. We had two wonderful day trips to the nearby attractions and beauty spots and did some diving. Jeremiah deserves a special mention for making our trips even more enjoyable. We rarely go back to the same place, but the Cauayan might just become an exception."

"The staff, everyone of them was outstanding! You are treated always with kindness and respect with sincerity. I spoke and had a conversation with the hotel manager named Yvette and told her I was impressed. I guess whatever she's doing really works. I noticed and picked up all this as someone who worked in the hotel business since 1974."
