"The Treehouse Suite at The Calhoun House is a great property. This particular suite is located in a separate building from the other suites, which was ideal for us, as we had our baby and toddler with us. We did not worry about disturbing other guests if he cried or was a little loud. Edward was amazing as we checked in. "Met all our needs for being seniors, and want peace and quiet."

"So, I booked our room back in September, October of 2021. Between then and when our trip was, the property changed owners. Apparently, there was a bit of a mixup with the booking and the whole lodge was booked for a reunion. We get there to check in, and not only do they still accommodate us, despite the mixup, they gave us an upgrade for no extra charge. We were staying for our anniversary and were absolutely thrilled with everything. We will definitely visit again in the future."

"This is a great place to stay if you want to get away from a crowded motel. You have a small kitchen and outdoor grilling, plus the view over the river from the back porch is awesome. This is the third year coming here with friends and now my adult son comes too. Fishing was good, food we prepared was great and companionship we shared was memorable."
