"The accomodations were excellent. Cozy, modern, clean. Loved that there were fire pits both inside and outside. We stayed in a wolf lodge, and while it was incredible seeing them interact with one another, eat, play and howl, I couldn't help but wish the enclosure was a bit larger for them and with more trees. "

"We recently stayed at this chalet and had a mixed experience. Starting with the positives: this would be an incredible place in the summer! The view is stunning, with a peaceful lake, private dock, and serene forest surroundings. The large lot is perfect for families, offering trails and plenty of outdoor games and activities for kids and adults alike. It’s truly a picturesque and relaxing retreat.However, our winter stay came with some challenges. Being a country chalet that isn’t lived in full-time, mice were an issue. While we understand this is almost unavoidable in rural settings, the mice were particularly active at night, especially in the basement, and their noise disrupted sleep for those staying there.Additionally, we rented this chalet specifically because the listing said it had a hot tub, but there wasn’t one. This was a major letdown, as we passed on other properties for this feature, and it significantly impacted our stay. Soaking in a hot tub after winter activities was something we’d all been looking forward to, so its absence was disappointing.On a positive note, the host, Abe, was very kind and quick to respond. He acknowledged the mistake about the listing and offered a resolution, which we appreciated. Despite the challenges, the chalet’s setting is stunning, and it would be an amazing spot for a summer getaway. Future renters may want to confirm all amenities beforehand to avoid similar issues"

"Magnifique endroit avec personnel tres gentil et serviable Très bon lit et belle chambre sauf dommage aucune poubelle de recyclage dans la chambre ou salle de bain Et robinet du lavavo qui coulait un peu Aussi café de ce type de petite cafetière pas très bon pour de vrai amateur de café mais excellent au déjeuner ainsi que les gaufres. "

"La Marina Inn lived up to it's description of "peaceful" at this time of the year, had a lovely stay. Exceptionally well stocked-kitchen (huge variety of kitchenware, including smaller appliances such as a toaster oven, air fryer, Keurig...). Large screened-in patio with enough space to have an outdoor dining area and sitting area. The patio also faces the waterfront, and due to the proximity of the house to the shore, there's a beautiful panorama view over the waterfront. Indoor seating area includes a comfy reclining sofa, in front of a wood-burning fireplace. The host also kindly provided firewood! Comfy beds and pillows. Lots of open greenspace right next door (part of the Lefaivre Marina). Very close to the ferry terminal to Montebello."
