"The house is lovely, bright, airy with absolutely everything you need, the air con was a must and very appreciated. Pool is lovely, just big enough for volleyball and to dive in safely. Pool man comes every couple of days, cleans and waters garden. Ver nice. Great location to visit Mirepoix, carcassonne and other places"

The property doesn’t have air conditioning - problem in 36 degree heat. 2. "We enjoyed everything about this/ these properties. Having the second house was a great boon , but the main house itself was spacious and perfectly designed. The pool was perfect and the large gardens enabled us to enjoy ball games etc. The shaded terrace was wonderful on hot days and the patio areas perfect for al fresco dining and BBQs. Loved it all!"

"Nous avons passé un très bon séjour entre amis aux Brunels ! La maison est tout à fait conforme à la description, Fatima est réactive et arrangeante ! Le jardin est super, la vue sur les montagne très belle et les environs sont super aussi (lac, balades...)."

"It was as good as anybody would want. The weather was not kind which usually means you start finding fault but we didn't. Very comfortable and close to all amenities. The flock of sheep and huge guard dog were endlessly entertaining. Very nice hosts."

"Déçu :la maison sympa mais la piscine HS( skimmer qui fuit donc remplissage journalier ,eau à 21 ° ),pas de ventilateurs dans la maison alors qu'il fait hyper chaud ,toute la vaisselle est quasiment ébréchée ,visite d'un des proprios tous les jours probablement dû à la piscine (on est quand même en vacances !!),bref pas top en qualité au regard du prix"

"très belle propriété un peu à l'écart au pied de la montagne noire au nord de Carcassonne. La maison est bien équipée, très belle et sobrement décorée avec trois grandes chambres et fraîche la nuit. "We enjoyed 2 great weeks at this wonderful property, which had everything we were looking for to have a relaxing holiday. The recently refurbished large house is superbly equipped and designed and is clearly well looked after. There is plenty of seating indoors and outdoors and it is very comfortable whatever the weather. The house is surrounded by beautiful, peaceful countryside and enjoys spectacular views to the Pyrenees, especially from the west facing deck, where we enjoyed many sunset...

"From the initial enquiry, communication with the owners was excellent. Anne and Frédéric are excellent hosts, very helpful without being intrusive. The accommodation cannot be faulted. Clean, very well equipped and very spacious. Small but well stocked supermarket within 5 minutes. Larger Carrefour and E Leclerc hypermarkets within 20 minutes. Pleasant 3 mile walk through vineyards and around a lake straight from the Gite with more demanding and walks and hikes within driving distance....
