"Great quiet family stay. Spa was nice but needed a little care in places but was still very enjoyable experience. We had a penthouse room which was lovely, excellent views and a private huge patio. There were things like a TV but we never even switched them on. Parking was generally a breeze and very accessible. The kids stayed on a sofa bed which looked comfortable (obviously a premium sofabed) for kids, but as it is a sofa bed, so as adult i wouldn't want to have slept on it. Overall a wonderful stay which I hope to come again. The skiing locally was great dor a young family on their first/second season ski school integrated on the main slopes. But was nothing challenging fora more experienced skier."

"This modern hotel was spacious and new which was a nice contrast to some of the older accommodations in the area but it was typical cheap new construction without attention to detail, sloppy paint, cracking drywall seams, unfinished details. The rooms were large and very comfortable with a great view and walkable to the gondola. The pool area was great and we appreciated the garaged parking area. My husband had been injured so it was a nice option to eat at the buffet inside the hotel for dinner but the food was really not good. Everything felt from a freezer bag and overcooked and bland. Front desk staff allowed us to check in early which was nice and the bar staff was helpful but most other staff felt like we were putting them out. Not overly friendly. "

"The hotel itself is wonderful. The room was clean, spacious, modern and comfortable with a beautiful view of the snowy mountains. The staff were attentive and friendly. My only recommendations would be for the indoor pool to be warmer and for more variety for children’s dinners. "

"We had a great time at this Chalet as a family. Spacious enough for our family of 5 and comfortable. Just a few minutes' walk to the lifts made it very convenient. Perfect location if you want to use the ski resort. Wil be back for sure. "

Ive noticed recently that hotels saying "ski in ski out" is becoming a loosely used term. Edelwiess is a true ski in, ski out place. "
