The real objection lies in the day-long, unavoidable (even indoors) noise of motorbikes heading to the yearly Bol d'Or meet, which builds up to the main event itself at the end of September by holding regular races throughout the month thereby attracting motorcyclists from all over Europe who then use the only road to the Castellet circuit that...

"Fantastic location, good size property in & out. But on first seeing the out side of property, we could see the dirty blackened paintwork and extremely tired furniture. In doors was the same old badly marked tired furniture, but was shocked on first seeing the dirty doors & surrounding areas including door handles light switches cupboard doors skirting around kitchen floor & oven. Had to go out & get cleaning products before unpacked & give the place a good clean. But we did enjoy staying there...

"Lovely open plan modern house. Lovely area. The only problem we had was confusion over the deposit, which was resolved through communication with the owner. Owner expected a cash deposit, the booking agency held a reserve on our credit card to act as the deposit so we were surprised at the cash request. Resolved amicably. "

"The host was extremely responsive and accommodating. Very nice lady. The property is exactly as the pictures. Only reason why we did not give this a 5 star is because we had to pay extra fees for towels. At the end of the stay we were also charged a cleaning fee and the host followed us to a nearby ATM to get her money. I believe all fees should be charged through the app and disclosed in advance. Also, the house is far from the airport so you will need to rent a car. The commute is beautiful...

"The home was everything advertised and more. we were 4 couples and it was perfect. we spent more time at the house cooking and enjoying the view rather than going to the village, which is a 10min walk down the hill. all the amenities were there in the kitchen and outside BBQ and wood stove were utilised. we went for walks down to the beach every morning which is also only 10 min. The walk up the hill was not a problem and provided good exercise. The host was fabulous from day 1, nothing was too...
