"This was an extremely clean well maintained suite. Our view of the fishing boats on the canal was interesting to watch from our deck. We used the heated pool and relaxed on the deck chairs every day! The hosts were very helpful in every way even giving us their own fan on a hot still day. We hope to be back next year for a longer stay."

"The accommodation, property manager, local were the best. Any requests were dealt with in a very timely fashion. We found one shortfall, the noise level at times, especially in evening was louder than expected but this was the holiday season and locals had moved into area and celebrating. We will definitely be back to the area."

"We just loved this spot! The layout of the property, our coffees on the deck area overlooking the property, Siegfried our host, just so many good things. The kitchen is equipped with the bare essentials. We didn’t cook at all there, so that wasn’t an issue. The bed was quite a bit different from what we are used to - more on the hard side. "This was our first visit to Barra and we will definitely be back! Able was very accommodating and the condo was in perfect shape. The location is in the heart of old town and walkable to the Malecon, water taxis and restaurants. It was fairly quiet as it was early in the season but we got to know the locals and everyone is so welcoming. It is a small community that support one another and we felt like a new neighbor. Thank you so much and we look forward to our next visit!"

"My brother and I stayed at Villa La Joya for three nights and enjoyed the entire time. The hosts bent over backwards to make us comfortable and even took the time to discuss life in Barra de Navidad and surrounding areas. "We just needed a place to crash for a couple of nights and we came here. Secure parking, not on the beach but near some really good restaurants. A little noisy with what seemed like 200 dogs up talking to each other most all night. Dogs will be dogs. I like La Manzanilla. "

"This feedback is about you VRBO and not the rental. We were shocked and dismayed at what you VRBO charge us the client. That tourism tax was particularly irritating. Other than advertising, managing the money and oversight the bulk of the work comes back to the owner. In this case you, VRBO, who even charge for a phone call if calling from Canada, are overcharging. Holding the entire amount is too much. When I booked through you I did it for two main reasons. One was paying in Canadian dollars....
