"I was kind of struck by there being a fridge, (which was great), plates, glasses, cups... etc. But no eating utensils. I will get some next time I stay. The room does not get a high rating because there were sticky things on the floor, the chair, etc. I was just too tired to ask for another room. The rates are pretty good and I will stay there again. "

"A perfect retreat for rest in a beautiful place. Vintage Victorian with modern comforts. The restaurant is incredible! The atmosphere is unique and charming. The rooms are cozy and oh so comfortable. We watched deer walking around the property as we ate our dinner. Close enough to the town’s shopping and restaurants to be convenient, but tucked into the trees to give a feeling of retreat. Will definitely stay here again. "

"Quaint building with generous-sized rooms, mine with a little kitchen set-up. Big bathroom. Easy walk to shops and restaurants but far enough from the main road to be quiet. Stairs up to most rooms, no elevator. Breakfast was quite simple, cereal and muffins mainly. Very scenic town with a stunning view of the White Sands on the road down to Alamogordo. "
