"Smelly property that did not feel clean, didn’t feel like a particularly safe neighbourhood - and the double door and strong locking mechanisms only made us more worried. Old towels, bedding didn’t smell clean, untidy bathroom. We stayed the night as a last resort and got out of there early in the morning. Went to Carcassonne a castle that was unexpectedly large and beautiful. "

Communication was excellent. Wine basket was a nice touch. Stairs were a bit of a challenge, but would not prevent me from looking to book this apartment again if I return to Carcassonne.
