"We had a wonderful week in this beautiful house . The grounds are huge and full of surprises . We enjoyed the pool and hot tub but gave the sauna a miss! There are plenty of lovely places to visit in the area and although the house is up a quiet forested hill it is not remote and has all the shops you need within a 10 min drive. The owner was easy to contact and very helpful All together a great stay."

"Le Soutenac is a generous and comfortable place to enjoy rural French life. The description of the house was very accurate and there were no hidden surprises! The kitchen is large and well-equipped, there are many places to sit, eat, drink or relax. The boulangerie was shut for the first half of our stay but Neuvic is an easy cycle away (I guess even Mme Boulanger needs a holiday!)"

There are several fridges so for a large group it is easy to cook and have space for drinks. We loved our stay and are grateful for the thought and care that has gone to furnishing this house. The owners live next door and were on hand for anything we might need, but we didn't see or hear them unless we needed to. They were the perfect hosts.
