Fairly close to the samoens ski gondola but you probably do need a car.The apartment has everything you need and was very comfortable. Two slight issues that might have got lost in translation. The information states the apartment has WiFi but it hasn’t. It is just part of the 4G network. "The property is amazing for a big family who want to stay in a gorgeous Swiss ski village, wake up to stunning mountain views each day and enjoy a beautiful walk into town where there is a great toboganing hill, incredible ski fields and bars, restaurants, coffee shops and all the amenities you could need. "Loved this property! It was a perfect ski chalet! We walked to go rent skis and then walked to slopes (using funicular) - could also walk to grocery store. A little sledding hill was right across from condo too! House was super cozy - beautiful views from back yard! It was a perfect stay! I’d love to go again! Host was responsive when we needed him. "

"This is a great place to stay for keen skiers who know each other well as the sleeping area is open plan. Great for a family or four very close friends. If you come in winter, you need a 4x4 to have independent access to the chalet. Ski in/ski out for good skiers. Well equipped and extremely charming. The owner Harald is very helpful and always available. Recommended!"

"Stayed at Christian’s chalet with a group of friends to ski for a few days, nothing short of a great experience! The chalet was absolutely beautiful. The hot tub and sauna is a nice addition after a day of winter activities! Donatella, the house manager, she was amazing, very communicative and had great suggestions for first timer visitors to Chamonix. We hope to be back soon!"

"Lovely chalet within easy walking distance of town and transportation. Four bedrooms and bathrooms means everyone has private space. The large open-concept main floor allowed plenty of room to cook, eat and relax. The hot tub was lovely after long hikes, and the view is incredible. Would definitely return. "
