What a beautiful, peaceful finca! Everything was lovely during our stay. Fresh flowers greeted us, and all the main things one would need for cooking were there: coffee machine, pots/pans, silverware. The washing machine and clothesline worked for us. The best part of this stay are the hosts. Don Eddy took us on a lovely horseback tour of the farm, where we sampled many fruits, sugar cane, cacao. We even saw a sloth and a howler monkey. The water buffalo, Solomon, is a cutie and very friendly. 10 minutes drive into town was easy, and we enjoyed the peaceful community of Agua Azul. The a/c made sleeping very comfortable, and the open air was great for us.

Home away from home.
I had the most enjoyable experience while visiting LaFortuna and the location of this property was perfect for me. Surrounded by people who are the most kind and loving people. Eddy and his family were the most helpful hosts and I was given a tour of their farm operation. Memories of a lifetime.

Cabin with A/C in jungle near La fortuna
Well maintained cabin and extremely clean. Cabin is also a good description of this accomodation since everything aside from a small bedroom is open air and i enjoyed it. Also well decorated interior with welcoming touches such as fresh cuttings/flowers, towel wraps and stamped toilet paper. I slept well because of the quiet and remote location just outside of the city and awoke to the sounds roosters and birds. perfect for a solo traveler, bur might be a little tight for a couple. the host is super cool and helpful. Only issue is that the host did not provide the address and checkin instructions until after I arrived. However a friendly neighbor of his helped me contact the host and get the instructions, since I did not have service at the location I was given through VRBO. Overall though I would recommend!
