"I stayed here for 2 nights in 4 days, same room both times so cannot comment on different room types. From the moment you walk through the entrance the welcome is very warm. Check-in quick and very friendly, glass of bubbly if that floats your boat. The hotel has the feel of a grand country house with generously sized rooms, a separate closet/ room for clothing etc and a good-sized bathroom. "We had a pleasant stay at Hotel Murten with our family. We really appreciated the convenient location, close to the lake and the village. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The room is large and comfortable, although it could use some update in the furniture. Also tv was not working during our stay.
