"Tucked away in a side street this lovely boutique hotel is perfect for being central to everything Málaga has to offer. The rooms are exactly what you need when you are out and about enjoying the city. The little self service drinks and stacks area in the main atrium is just a bout right for a late night snack or a coffee in the morning before heading out. "

"Absolutely lovely stay, very comfortable room and bed, lovely private terrace, this is a rustic guesthouse with lovely elements, little courtyard, breakfast room, great self check in, plunge pool was sadly empty as we would have loved a dip as it was hot but I assume it's out of season. All in all a very chilled and comfortable stay "

"Wonderful place, great views as so high up, lovely heated pool, spacious outdoor areas, our room had amazing views, fridge, cutlery, microwave, toaster and kettle. Peaceful area, we drove down to the beach area for dinner where lots of choice. Able to buy drinks at the pool area. Owners are very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again."

"Sadly we decided not to stay here because the room was very small and we didn’t feel comfortable with sharing someone’s home. The room did not feel private. Sandra was very understanding and gave me a full refund. If you are comfortable ‘sharing’ the house with other guests and owners do not be put off by my comments. My comments are my personal choice. "Tracey is an amazing host. We were thoroughly satisfied with the 3 nights at La Vieja Botica: - different daily quality breakfast, locally sourced (not forgetting Tracey's signature marmalede), fresh and tasty; by the olive's wood fireplace - modern and fully furnished room, extremely comfortable bed with an ever important door that opens out (able to continuously air the room is a huge plus) - spot on location for the el saltillo hike - just few steps away from the starting point"

"One of most enjoyable (if short!) stays in a long while. La Madrugada is in an enviable position, with wonderful views down towards the sea/coast, and the magnificent surrounding mountains. Marco is a very welcoming host who wants you to enjoy your stay. The breakfasts we had on the patio were an absolute highlight. I hope very much to stay here again and I will highly recommend it. "

"Prachtige locatie met heel mooi uitzicht over het dal. De eigenaren Jan Teun en Ria doen er alles aan om het hun gasten naar de zin te maken. Echt aan alles is gedacht. "The overall experience was good. Just a little issue for the check in as I couldn't get the access codes on time because I wasn`t able to indicate that I was the only guest, not finding the way to change the number of guests (from 2 to only 1) and skip the part where it required to enter the information for a 2nd guest. "The apartment was an excellent base for a stay in Malaga. A short walk to shops, bars and restaurants in the Old town. And a little further to the port, beach and train station.
