Il y a beaucoup d'activités à faire dans les environs, à 15-30 minutes de voitures (plages, vélo, balade en barque, villes balnéaires, parc aquatique..). "Had a fantastic 10 days with the family. Our host was very welcoming. Spacious and functional house, inside and out, perfect to accommodate all 13 of us with plenty of communal areas. Ideally designed so that each of our 4 family units had their own bedrooms, bathroom and toilet. One small draw back, hot water ran out for the 6 people in the main house, despite very quick showers, but it didn't spoil the holiday. Well equipped kitchen and laundry room. "A little home from home. Very comfortable and welcoming. The amenities were fab. The little village had a very friendly bar a tremendous butcher with a huge range of products and a baker's shop with bread to die for. Carine and her daughter were extremely helpful. We will definately be going again."

"We travelled as a family of 6 and had a fantastic week in August 23. The property is extremely well refurbished and has a fantastic outdoor space. The location is ideal being a 8 - 10 min walk to the marina and old port where are all the restaurants, bars and main shops are. A quieter retreat to get away from the later night hustle and bustle of the main town. Local shop 2 min walk has all the produce you need for the week if you don’t have a car. Old town market is also fantastic and a must....

"We enjoyed a perfect, relaxing holiday at Lydie and David's beautiful house. The photos really do not do this house justice - it is much bigger than you expect - lots of 'extra' spaces with seating, including a mezzanine with desk and futon, so plenty of space for teenagers to spread out . We were only 5, but there would be plenty of room for 8. It is decorated to a high standard - very tasteful and comfortable. "We arrived at the property to meet the house cleaner who did not speak English which made understanding the requirements challenging. The beds were not made and towels were not within the property and it seemed that we had to pay extra for these and had to make our own beds which was a surprise . We understood the requirement to leave €17 at the end of the visit for the cost of sheets and towels which we would not have expected. "This is the quietest holiday on record for us and we always look for quiet locations. The house is a charm and François and Claudine made for the most hospitable hosts. The Vendée has so much to offer and we loved the safe cycling on flat roads using the bikes that came with the property. It’s about an hour to La Rochelle and in east reach of many delightful villages. Highly recommended"

"We had a lovely stay here. The reception staff were really welcoming and helpful. I was a bit surprised because the room picture was of twin beds with space between, but it was made up as a double. I was travelling with my son, so ended up sleeping on the sofa bed, which was easy to pull out, had a bottom sheet already on and additional pillows etc were in the cupboard. The wall cupboards weee tricky for me, as I’m only 5’1” tall!! Fortunately my son is 6’ tall and was willing to reach things...
