"We stayed for a month while we were having our boat commissioned. The location was great especially because we had our bikes. A little bit of a walk to the downtown but a 10 minute bike ride. The area was very quiet. We would stay again if we did not have our boat now. Really nice Hosts would recommend!"

"We had a lovely stay at Carole and David’s gite. Very clean, very comfortable large bed and was nice to have the patio area to sit out in. An ideal place to stay with easy access to beaches and La Rochelle. We would definitely stay here again. Great hosts."

"In a quiet area within easy walking of city centre, beaches, local shops. Could have been better if there was a bit more information about getting around eg buses, ferries, bikes etc. Staff always polite. "

"We had a lovely stay here. The reception staff were really welcoming and helpful. I was a bit surprised because the room picture was of twin beds with space between, but it was made up as a double. I was travelling with my son, so ended up sleeping on the sofa bed, which was easy to pull out, had a bottom sheet already on and additional pillows etc were in the cupboard. The wall cupboards weee tricky for me, as I’m only 5’1” tall!! Fortunately my son is 6’ tall and was willing to reach things...
