"We loved this hotel! Beautiful! Room was great. Free saki bar at night was fun. Right in the middle of the charming old town. Also, walk over and make reservations at the burger place right behind the hotel - delicious!! We would do a little shopping then swing back to the hotel, then head back out. Family Mart was right next door for snacks and drinks. It was a great stay."

"The cosmetics were great! The staff was welcoming and helpful. They gave helpful directions and were very available. The hotel was extremely clean. The bathes were lovely especially after a cold day sightseeing. "

"The breakfast was very good. The room was relatively large and had a nice bench seating area. We were able to walk from the train station and to the bus station for Shirakawa. The hotel seemed to have plenty of parking, though we did not use it. They had loaner umbrellas by the front door."
