"I had a pleasant stay at this charming hotel, which is centrally located in Ystad. The staff were very welcoming and accommodating. While the rooms could benefit from a bit of refreshing, overall, I had a very positive experience."

"It was truly a “grand” hotel” - stately, elegant, beautiful, meticulously maintained. Very impressive! The breakfast buffet was extraordinary- the best we have ever seen. Parking was safe and secure, but a bit difficult to locate. "

"We lived staying here! It was a quick walk from the train station which was a big priority, the check in at the pub was very easy, and the room itself was big and newly renovated. It felt clean and open. Beds were very comfortable. The pub had a great selection of beers. I do suggest sticking to Scandinavian based dishes though rather than English pub food. (Didn’t get it quite right). Breakfast was nice. Easy access to the university, parks, coffee shops and restaurants without it being busy. Highly recommend!"

"Proximity to train station is a big plus. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean. Only the window shade was a bit difficult to lower. "

"This hotel is the only high raised building in Lund I guess! Value for the money. Clean & neat. Very polite and helpful staffs. Breakfast is well spread. They give bike to ride from the hotel. Took it get some early morning breakfast at McD, Caz jet lagged! Stayed well, Ate well & slept well here! "

"We really enjoyed the spa facilities, pools, and the location being close to the ocean. Spa staff were excellent - came to the tub to offer to bring us drinks. The room itself was small and not as great - we had a "sea view" but there were benches blocking the actual view. The toilet was broken and would not flush. The bed was very comfortable and everything was clean. The staff we interacted with were nice. Breakfast was good. Overall, it was a great trip, and worth the price simply due to the spa facilities. Note that the room itself was not worth the price, but the excellence of the spa pools made up for it."
