"This adults only resort was amazing. It's not crowded. The food is fantastic, and the snorkeling was great. Went for relaxation and that's what I got. Since most people gravitate to the pool I had the beach to myself for days. The outside shower was like heaven. Stayed in the garden bure and enjoyed every day I stayed. I highly recommend the massage as well. Hope they keep the resort and don't over expand because not being trampled by other guests made my trip to this resort truly special."

"The Octopus Resort far exceeded our expectations. The resort staff are wonderful! I had the most memorable birthday on the beach. The kava ceremony was fun and entertaining. Snorkeling with my 6 year old right off the beach was incredible. The hike to the top of the island was insanely beautiful and a fun challenge. Netball might be my new favorite sport. The food was very good. A lot more variety than we expected. The visit to the village and school was incredibly special. The children were so friendly and sweet. What a magical life it must be to grow up in such a beautiful place. We are so happy that we chose to stay there. Vinaka Vinaka Vinaka! "

"Loved our stay at Matamanoa - beautiful location, stunning beach, beautiful, well appointed bures, good snorkelling off the beach, stunning sunsets. The food was good , ample servings but could be improved with more fresh salads and fresh vegetables. The staff are absolutely wonderful and could not do enough for us. "However very hard to get to, we thoroughly enjoyed our 3 days on the island. It was quiet and safe and we felt very much at peace in our bure, thus the added bonus of its inaccessibility to the noisy public. The Fijian staff are amazingly friendly and welcoming. If there was a negative it would be the food/cooking quality. The breakfasts were outstanding but the buffet-style dinners and lunches were too bland and overcooked and became repetitive! "

"-Seaside bures were so lovely and cool even though no ac or wifi, the outdoor shower was beautiful -The staff are incredibly friendly and have made us want to come back just for kuata -The food was great with mostly buffet style. Not many options if you have diet restrictions though or allergies. -The dive team was super professional and did such a good job to help us all do a shark dive, we are super thankful. -I had a bad experience at the spa so I wouldn’t recommend it. -The Fiji night, signing dancing were all apart of giving us such a great experience. -The dining outside for dinner is super cute and romantic although no options if it rains. Highly recommend. "
