"This was a beautiful boutique hotel in the middle of Old Town. We had a spacious suite with a loft. The pool was an excellent addition to take a dip after our walks. Breakfast was so yummy, especially the Greek pastries and yoghurt. The outdoor area was beautiful. Would highly recommend this quaint hotel."

"Great location for my journey. Property is very close to the beach. Lots of dining options close by. Parking can be a pain but host goes out.of his way to be accommodating. Laneway to accommodation is very narrow for cars."

"The suite was amazing. Very modern, it was new and it showed. very short walk to multiple beaches & the view from the rooftop infinity pool was to die for. If your planning on staying at bali in Crete ( a little seaside village ) I highly recommend this place"

"The property is exquisite, no doubt. Very unique building and room that has kept some of the original building characteristics. Couple big issues though. First, the Wi-Fi is totally unusable, at least in the room we reserved. Was told it was normal because of the old stones used in buildings. If that’s the case, they should have a mesh network or a better solution than whatever they have now because we legit couldn’t get things to load and were told there was no internet at times by sites....

"Brilliant hotel right on the edge of old town within 5-10 minutes of everything. Rooms are in a stunning old building with lots of character with a lovely pool. Host was also always available and very friendly."

"Nice, clean, and comfortable, with very good service. There is not much we could possibly complain about. I would say the pool, at just over 5m, is more for a splash than for swimming, but for kids this was still perfect. It is walkable to the local seaside village (Bali), but only just, and would not recommend doing so in there heat. Get a car instead, or mybe the local tourist train which had a terminal about 15 mins walk away. Bali village also has good facilities and beaches."

"Das Studio war auf dem neuesten Stand, stylisch, tolles Mobiliar, sehr gutes Bett, gut ausgestattete Küche, einziger Kritikpunkt sind der fehlende Spiegel über dem Waschbecken und fehlende Haken (ev. wäre eine Hakenleiste an der WC Türe eine Möglichkeit), ich habe immer eine Haken mit Saugnapf mit für alle Fälle. Großer Balkon mit Wahnsinnsblick auf die Bucht. Großes Lob sonst an die Ausstattung! Der kleine integrierte Laden bietet eine gute Einkaufsmöglichkeit. Top Unterkunft!"

"It's magnificent. Views are fabulous. Beach is near and clean. Great place to stay to discover Crete. I wish I could stay longer."

"Country living at its best. Great pool. Be prepared for no room service or daily cleaning. The property could have used a safe. Plan on renting a car which can be arranged by the front desk. Location is great, just a few minutes to great restaurants and amazing beaches. "

"It was a nice time at Pela mare hotel, the ambience is lovely and quiet for a family relaxation. What is unique about the Property is the aerial view, the wonderful Greek culture and amazing staff. My stay was okay until my check out time and was slammed with an unplanned bill which was based on not passing information correctly. Information should be decimated properly and detailed accordingly because language barrier is imminent. But overall it's not bad for a family stay. The management...

"Everything is amazing in the hotel it is very suitable for families there is good service and great food, everywhere you go in the hotel the staff are very understanding and kind. "Could not recommend this place more! We will definitely be going back. The staff was phenomenal, when we arrived we were greeted by a concierge who took our bags inside/to our rooms and made us a mimosa while we filled out our check in details. We did the half board so we got a buffet breakfast and dinner each night that had so many options and were very delicious! The front desk also made us a reservation for the el la carte dinner which was also free. The staff didn’t hesitate when we asked them to book us a taxi to check out city centre as well as booking an early taxi to get us to the port the morning we checked out, also supplying us with a box breakfast to go. Highly recommend this place! Absolutely loved every minute of our stay! "

Great Hotel outside of Heraklion

"This was a terrific hotel about 25 kilometers out of Heraklion. It was fine for us because we had a car and the driving easy. The hotel was walking distance down the hill Agia Pelagia which is a cute little beach town. We ate at the hotel restaurant one night and were pleasantly surprised at the overall quality of the dishes we had- way better than a hotel restaurant usually is. The staff was great and the breakfast buffet was very good. If you are planning a trip to Knossos and the Archeological Museum this is a good option. It was nice to get back to the quiet of an out of town hotel. The only downside is they are trying to hard to be kitschy which is totally unnecessary for such a quality property. We loved it all in all"
