"This was one of the worst hotels we've been too. The pictures of hotel rooms here are much better from what u get. Technically it should be rated as a Hostel! We had booked the hotel 4 months in advance for 3 people, and we got a room that had 2 single beds, and a sofa bed. The owner said "Other rooms are booked now". The shower head wasnt working (until we asked them to fix it) and had no warm water. There was no soap in the washroom. And they'd not change the towels or bed sheets every day....

"This was a beautiful boutique hotel in the middle of Old Town. We had a spacious suite with a loft. The pool was an excellent addition to take a dip after our walks. Breakfast was so yummy, especially the Greek pastries and yoghurt. The outdoor area was beautiful. Would highly recommend this quaint hotel."

"The property is exquisite, no doubt. Very unique building and room that has kept some of the original building characteristics. Couple big issues though. First, the Wi-Fi is totally unusable, at least in the room we reserved. Was told it was normal because of the old stones used in buildings. If that’s the case, they should have a mesh network or a better solution than whatever they have now because we legit couldn’t get things to load and were told there was no internet at times by sites....

"I'm quite fussy about where we stay (to say the least!) and Marianthi apartments did not disappoint! Rooms were spotless, cleaned everyday to a high standard and had everything you needed. The pool and garden area made for a relaxing place to sunbathe but to leave the hotel you are only 1 minute from the main street with shops, restaurants, bars. "We arrived after a late flight into Heraklion, the welcome was warm with the offer of a cold welcome beer. The room was more than we expected woth plenty of space and good amenities. Morning arrived and we had a fabulous breakfast out on the deck admiring the view over the valley. We only spent a night here bit wish we could have had 1 more. Highly reccomended"

"Everything is amazing in the hotel it is very suitable for families there is good service and great food, everywhere you go in the hotel the staff are very understanding and kind.
