"I knew I'd picked the right place after doing tons of research and reading reviews. But even so, from the moment I got there, the service was amazing! The staff were so polite and helpful, letting us leave our bags before check-in and after check-out. The room was great, had everything we needed, and the bed was super comfy – I usually have trouble sleeping in different beds, but I slept like a log! Couldn't hear a peep from other guests. Plus, they have a rooftop for drinks and smoking. There's a gym and sauna you can use for extra, plus they do these awesome upgradepackages – e.g. birthday: cake, balloons, Prosecco, etc – all waiting for you in your room. It's a nice surprise you can add on."

"Excellent hotel for value for money and location close to Schipol Airport. Hotel has a shuttle bus to and from the airport every 30mins until midnight. Very good, however slightly outdated facilities. Hotel hasn't got much around it apart from a Lidl supermarket so have to get the shuttle bus then train into Amsterdam Centraal. Pool and sauna is decent, 24hour self service kiost is useful. Didn't have the breakfast or dinner there as did not nor smell very nice for the cost. All in all good hotel from a trusted company."

"Beautiful hotel, great staff, clean rooms, excellent breakfast and perfect location. For those that want a small town feel…Amsterdam is NOT the place to be. It’s a major city with traffic, noise, trash, construction and people having fun all night. But the Dikker is situated to take it all in…close to the Museum district, great food and shopping and perfect access to the canal boats or strolling up to the Jordan district. The room we had was very clean, the bed very comfortable and a great bathroom. The Staff were amazingly attentive and had advise on anything you wanted to do. Would stay there again in a heart beat. "

"the rooms were very modern with lights being controlled from an ipad and a very nice design and clean!! each floor had a mini communal kitchen and lounging area which was very nice and a mini fridge inside room. would definitely recommend staying here. a downside is the hotel is about a 20/25 min drive from the main city centre. they allowed us to check in at 12 for free and a €15 euro for a late checkout till 1pm "
