"I booked this place for a weekend getaway with my wife. The place is AMAZING!!! My wife fell in love with the little house and how it was decorated. If you want to just sit outside and enjoy the outdoors, it is very quiet and peaceful. The host of this property is amazing and we even had a lil surprise waiting for us when we arrived. When we return to visit Waco again I will definitely be booking here again!!!"

"We had an amazing time! We bbq’d and played in the pool and hot tub. The host told us about the local feed store, so we went into town and got some cubes for the cows. The kids had a blast feeding the cows! It was comfortable for the number of people we had and a great getaway to the country."

"We really enjoyed our stay and especially building fires in the cold weather! The manager was extremely kind and easy to work with during our stay. It is a bit of a drive out, so be ready for some country roads. This is not the property owners fault, but just for transparency there are lots of loose dogs (over 10) on nearby properties to be mindful of on your stay. Some are car chasers and stay out in the road. "

"We stayed for an extended weekend and it was so much fun. We hit up the local HEB and then set up camp. Between the views the swing and the dart board and ping pong it was the weekend we needed. Also if you love birds this is the place to stay. "

"Upon Friday arrival, entered gate and the brick walk to the front door was covered in sand and dirt. To the left of the front door on the porch sat a styrofoam cooler, lid to the side and a bag of garbage in it. Inside the house seemed reasonably clean but by the time we visited each room we had killed two scorpions. Out back by the lakeside the nice grass that is portrayed in the listing appears to have not been mowed this year and had sticker burrs growing closer to the house. On the back...

"The bed was comfortable. The decor nice. Bathroom and kitchen supplies adequate. Kitchen table and sofa were a good size for two and comfortable. Nice and quiet. However, the shower and kitchen sink were on the primitive side and the whole place could have stood a good wipe down."

"We rented the boathouse for our family for my daughter’s graduation from Baylor. It was perfect because it’s close enough to Waco but far enough away from the hustle and bustle. Our family enjoys fishing and camping, so this location was perfect!! There are so many things to do at the ranch, everyone was entertained all weekend. The staff was so helpful and friendly!"

"Our family enjoyed staying at this property while my oldest had a baseball tournament in Franklin. Home was spacious, clean, and had everything we needed."

"We stayed here two nights while we were in College Station for the football game. The was even cuter and cozier in person than the pics! The house is recently remodeled and the host has thought of everything! Beds were great, everything was super clean, and the host left a box of pastries that served as a great breakfast both mornings. We loved the home and would definitely stay again!"

"What a sweet spot we stumbled upon! The lake view is incredible and the house was so well stocked. Beds were comfy, and we all had a wonderful time. The only downside is that we had no idea it was a duplex and the owners would be staying above us for the weekend. It turned out to be totally fine, it was just a surprise at first, as I didn't see anything in the listing regarding this possibility."
