"This place is in a great location on a train route to Munich (45 minutes to Marienplatz), or the other direction to Tutzing, which is a cute lake town worth visiting. Also situated a nice day trip away from Neuschwanstein. For Americans, take your power adapters, there were no USBs to plug into at the place. The dryer has a reservoir that collects water, that is different from American dryers, a tip if your clothes don't seem to be drying. We had fun playing the fussball game downstairs."

"This is our fifth time in Schliersee, our first staying here. It definitely won’t be our last. Apparently super clean, ideal position with a wonderful view over the mountains. Well equipped kitchen and loads of room. Lovely hosts who stay in touch prior to and during your stay. I would definitely recommend anyone who hasn’t stayed here to think about it.
