Fabulous food but a bit too shabby for the price
I felt I had been misled when we arrived at the hotel as the pictures on the listing show a well manicured hotel with a quality finish. The pictures were taken quite some time ago and the hotel is now in need of some love. The rooms are nice and they leave little animals made out of towels on your bed which is lovely, but the pool area and restaurant are a bit shabby and the buildings need a coat of paint. On the plus side, the food was fabulous and the people very friendly. The location is great if you want a quiet beach holiday, away from it all. If you want to be close to hustle and bustle, then it's way too far to walk so you'll spend a lot on taxis. Overall, nice holiday but probably wouldn't book again.

IT IS A VERY VERY OLD HOTEL IN VERY BAD CONDITION. FURNITURES IN THE ROOM ARE ALSO VERY OLD AND DUSTY VERY MUCH. TERRIBLE BREAKFAST, TERRIBLE COFFEE, TERRIBLE OLD TABLES, VERY LOW PROFILE OF GUESTS. THE BEACH OF THE HOTEL IS ALSO VERY VERY DIRTY, IT IS NOT POSSIBLE TO SWIM. ESPECIALLY RECEPTIONIST OLD LADY NOT FRIENDLY AT ALL, VERY RUDE. NEVER GO THERE.

After staying in Mimosa we were looking for alternative option as Mimosa was booked , we found this one just next to mimosa resorts, Pros ** Beautiful Hotel ** Good private beach and outdoors ** Comfortable room ** Value for money Cons ** Not on any popular beach or near any main market though 7-11 and Family Mart store near by serves the basic purpose. ** Since its a private beach you would have to travel 800 mtr approx from main road. Overall its a nice comfortable place on a nice beach , hotel is beautiful , though rooms doesn't have any thing exclusive but it is clean spacious and comfortable , You would find it great value for money.

A quiet getaway!
It is an old resort at the end of a small road. It is located right in the beach and such a terrific choice if you want to have solitude and relax. No other activities around, and to walk up to the main road takes about 10-15 minutes. This was what I was looking for, so I am satisfied with both the price and the location. The restaurant (doesn't look much) but have delicious food. Try their Grilled Barracuda with tamarind sauce!

Should have spent more time!
We stayed at Koh Samui Resort for a single night following arrival in Thailand, as we were traveling to Koh Tao the next day. We booked this hotel merely as a "one night filler". Could have easily stayed a lot longer. The staff were very friendly, and hotel room was very, very clean. Location is absolutely spot on, and the beach is dreamy. Whilst not a five-star resort, I can absolutely recommend it!

I would stay there again. It is way out of the way. So be prepared. The staff makes sure your happy. The pool is awesome. And sunset dinners priceless.you do get what you pay for so don't expect a high end resort. But for me it was perfect.

Just one hiccup
it`s in a scenic and secluded location steps from the pool and beachfront. Not much activity surrounding the area. I rented a motor bike (about 150-200 baht/day) from one of the few restaurants/shop on the dirt road that leads out to the main road, to get around to the main port (for street food/night market) and other parts of town. Great and cheap way to get around. The room itself was one of the nicer room we had stayed in during our stay in SE Asia. Just one problem. We had NO water on our first day. It took several phone calls to finally get it working. They gave us a fruit bowl for the inconvenience. Good try.

Koh Samui Resort
We really enjoyed our stay at the Koh Samui Resort. The staff was fantastic and it was wonderful to be right on the beach or near the pool in the tucked away gardens where our bungalows were located. The only negative comment I would have would be that the bed was not as soft as I would have liked. Otherwise, it was a nice quiet stay and hopefully, we'll be back.

Quiet and peaceful Koh Samui Resort
This resort is true to most of it's reviews - a quiet and peaceful place. We booked for 3 nights and stayed for 9 nights. The deluxe bungalows around the pool area are spacious, clean and comfortable, in amongst lush garden growth which gives privacy and adds to the feeling of tranquility. Its only about 30 metres from the pool to the beach. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. The free wifi worked well. Breakfast is served in the resort restaurant, right on the beach - there was not a lot of variety but it was quite adequate. It is a 900m walk from the main island ring road in to the resort. Down this road are a few small food shops and restaurants which gives some variety if you are staying a while. There are plenty of taxi trucks going along the main road, and if you have to shop you can be in the main town within 30 minutes.

I'll be back
I wanted a quiet, secluded Thailand and I got it. While this hotel was not 5 star it didn't come with a 5 star price. My private bungalow was as pretty as a piece of cake I didn't want to eat. Yet every morning my bed had flowers and a new pareau sculpture on it. They even thought of a beach bag, sun hat and separate over sized towels for beach use. Out door private shower was cool and the food was always good. PC with high speed for your use in the room which was very helpful. Slightly awkward crossing the tiny vehicle path to get from the bungalows to the bar/office/beach but no problem. I thought it added to the jungle atmosphere. My hosts took care of every desire I had and even the owner picked me up from the golf course. I am coming back. You will need a car or scooter to do your own exploring as this is off the beaten path. A few bamboo hut restaurants and small shops a 10 minute walk away. The beach was narrow at high tide but the loungers set on the tide wall ensured there was no time of day the coast couldn't be enjoyed. Children may be bored if they are used to a disney atmosphere but I regretted having no significant other to share this, The photos are all exact as promised unlike my hotels in Pattaya and Bangkok.

I really enjoyed my stay in the koh Samui resort, the rooms were lovely and clean, the bed's were a little on the hard side, but I think that is typical of thailand. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was very good and very well presented. Found the location of the hotel a little on the remote side, had to get taxi's everywhere, wanted to do some watersports while in thailand but found that we were too far away for them to be able and come pick us up. Hotel is ideal if you want a complete getaway.

INCREDIBLE FIND. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
What a fabulous experience! I traveled alone and stayed in this quaint hotel on the north side of the island. Staff: helpful beyond measure, spirited despite flood devastation in Thailand, friendly, professional, welcoming, shuttle service available, motorbikes available (hotel owner was very patient in teaching me how to ride!). Accommodations: lovely, clean, spacious, daily housekeeping service, air conditioned, personal computer in every room!, wifi in room, comfortable bed. Restaurant/Bar: delicious, large portions (way more than i could eat), fresh, chef catered to my tastes, nice outdoor setting on the water (covered patio). Pool: clean, perfect. Location: on quiet north side, walking distance to neighborhood restaurants/food market, nice stretch of beach, locals, not full of tourists (which is what I wanted), removed from the bustle of Chewang. I would certainly go back to the Koh Samui Resort. I met some of the most wonderful people there (staff and other guests). I was on a solo trip, but I'm certain this would be a romantic spot for a couple. If you're looking for a spot on the north side, stay here!

Sehr ruhiges Resort in Top Strand Lage
Meine Freundin und ich haben die Deluxe Villa gebucht. Das Haus war schön geräumig und authentisch eingerichtet, jedoch könnte es etwas modernisiert werden um das ganze perfekt zu machen. Das komplette Resort ist schön Grün (viele Pflanzen und Blumen) mit ganz kleinen Fehlern. Zum Beispiel sind die Auflagen am Poolbereich bereit ausgewechselt zu werden und der Brunnen der vor dem Pool könnte mal wieder von den Algen befreit werden. Die Fehler sind zwar etwas kleinlich aber sie würden das ganze noch etwas besser abrunden. Der Strandabschnitt am Resort ist traumhaft und wirklich sehr schön ruhig. Beim Frühstück auf der Terrasse, die sich direkt am Strand befindet, startet man gut in den Tag. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist empfehlenswert und lässt nichts vermissen was man zum Frühstück braucht. Das Resort hat zwar keine eigenen Roller, organisiert jedoch binnen von 10 min einen. Leider war das Personal (nicht der Putzdienst) manchmal etwas schroff. Alles in allem kann man es weiterempfehlen wenn man damit leben kann das man nicht im modernsten Resort der Insel wohnt. Allerdings muss man dazu sagen das es am authentischsten von allen der von uns besuchten Resorts ist. (Wir waren noch in 2 weiteren Resorts)

This hotel, labeled resort, is quite outdated and simple. The rooms don't feel nice. The location is excellent for families: at the beach, quiet. Own transportation is of benefit to get away from the place. Swimming pool size OK, but water tastes horrible.

Lidt dyr restaurant som ikke giver byttepenge tilbage, men selv runder op. Strømmen gik kortvarigt et par gange. Venligt personale. Kun enkelt medlem af personalet som var lidt for ivrig efter at man bestilte noget i restauranten. Omgivelserne er flotte. Værelserne er nedslidte. Larm fra vandtank uden for værelserne. Очень приятный отель. Простой, уютный, тихий. Расположен прямо на берегу. Персонал всегда приветливый и старается помочь в любой ситуации. Слышали, что в других отелях бывает требуют космические цены за трансфер из отеля в аэропорт или в другой гестхаус. Нам назвали адекватную цену, помогли с вещами и через 5 минут уже отвезли. Отель расположен на очень красивом пляже Бан Тай. У нас еще не было возможности оценить все пляжи острова. Но этот выглядел как на картинках ))

Etwas abgelegen / nicht so toller Strand
Nachdem wir 6 Tage in Chaweng waren hat uns 3 Tage in dieser Anlage eher entäuscht. Ist ziemlich abgelegen (man sollte unbedingt ein Motorrad mieten. Es gibt zwar einen eigenen Taxitransfer vom Hotel, dieses kostet doch jedes mal. Der Strand ist aus unserer Sicht nicht so toll (steinig). Wir würden selber nicht mehr diese Anlage nutzten. Dann lieber der Chaweng Beach, ist aus unserer Sicht viel schöner

Mooi Resort, erg afgelegen aan doodlopende weg
Vriendelijk personeel, uitgebreid ontbijt op basis van a la carte. Restaurant ligt vlak aan het het strand. Alle huisjes liggen rond het zwembad. Huisjes zijn voorzien van een binnen en buiten douche. De ruime kamers zijn netjes en schoon voorzien van veranda. Het nadeel van deze accommodatie is dat het erg afgelegen ligt van de "bewoonde" wereld voor enige vertier of restaurant heb je vervoer nodig. Het restaurant van het Resort is prima trouwens. Maar na 1 of 2 dagen heb je het allemaal wel gezien.

Schön zum Abschalten
Dieses Hotel is voll in Ordnung, e is sauber und die Angestellten sind freundlich. Es liegt ca.20 min vom Zentrum weg und auch rund herum sind kaum Restaurants um nicht im Hotel essen zu müssen, was aber nicht schlecht ist. Mit einem Roller ist man aber schnell überall und man kann sie im Hotel mieten. Sehr schön zum relaxen

heerlijk rustig .
Heerlijk rustige plek om bij te komen van een drukke rondreis door Thailand. Weliswaar niet aan het mooiste stuk strand van Koh Samui, maar de zee aan je voeten , restaurant met uitzicht op zee, heerlijk eten en vriendelijk personeel. Klein Resort, gelegen direkt aan de zee. Elke dag schoon beddegoed en handdoeken. Een heerlijke plek. Wij voelden ons er helemaal thuis!
