Lamai Beach
My first trip to Koh Samui was an enjoyable experience thanks to Am Samui Palace. The hotel is centrally located and within walking distance to everything you could want. The staff was friendly, and ready to make your stay a pleasant experience. The pool and dining area is very relaxing and quiet. Great place overall.

this hotel was wonderful, easy check in and check out. friendly staff . my only complaint is my constant complaint with thailand in general. the beds are HARD. the pillows are HARD. now i'm used to the hard beds, but the hard pillows were bit of annoying because i couldn't sleep in the position i was comfortable. I easily remedied this by purchasing pillows outside. the location is awesome- 5 minute walk to the beach and the road it's on has tons of restaurants and shops. there is even a night market directly in front of the hotel. the hotel itself resides in a cubby so you don't hear much of the road noise. now that is my only complaint. this hotel is great. i'd recommend it and would stay again.

Hotel is in the center of Lamai. Close to Lamai beach. However, every night we heard music and noise from outside (until 2-3am). It is located in the center of every amusement in lamai soo noisy in the evening. Beside that there were a lot of mosqitue around and the breakfast was cheap. Pool is nice.

We had a great stay at this hotel. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The pool area could get busy but the beach is only a short walk away with plenty of free sun loungers . Breakfast was adequate eggs any way you like and a variety of fruit cereal and local dishes. All in all we would stay here again

we nearly had the place to ourselves for a few days we were wondering did a mass murder take place! got a few more guests as the days went on. If staying get a poolside room well worth it. The staff were friendly and gave good advice.The breakfast was just ok but saying that you had everything from bacon eggs etc to fried rice.The other restaurant food was good but the hamburgers are not great the meat is way over processed. all in all we would really like to go back, great place to stay.Been to samui a few times and this place is right up there!!!!!!!!!!!

Ticks all our boxes.
Good location in centre of bars/restos, but not noisy -and we were in room 228 close to the front entrance. No need for earplugs. Good shower, wifi in room, good selection of TV channels. Big rooom, big comfy bed. Balcony is a plus. Beach towels provided. Breakfast is buffet style with good choice, and fresh egg station. Service is good. Not tsuffocating like some places where they define service as over the top fussing around guests. Great value for money. Recommended.

Booked for two nights, so good we stayed for six!
Nicely spacious hotel, great location right opposite the market. In the heart of the bars and restos. We had a room overlooking the front entrance, supposed to be a bit noisy but we heard only very slight background noise, even at weekends. Certainly nothing to disturb our peace and quiet. Service excellent. Pool is good size, nice and big. Rooms spacious, good wifi, good shower strength, balcony as well. Good tv channels too. Night safe large enough fior an iPad. Breakfast has good selection. Coffee is just normal coffee, this is not a starbucks, thank goodness! Beach towels free of charge. Beach is 2-3 minutes walk. Free loungers available. Definitely good value for what you get.

30 steps from Night Life
Location: extremely close to restaurants / night market / beach ....everything - if you are not going to rent a car / motor bike, this is the choice for you . One side of the hotel is the main street where the night market / stores located, and the other side is the lamai beach and you can find numerous restaurant there. However, there are some negative things : 1. Noisy - can't complain as it is really close to the night life places - i can hear music at 5am. 2. Swimming pool - i think the water is not clean enough and it's a big salty , is it sea water? 3. Insects - there are numerous kind of insects you can see in the hotel wall , i saw about 10 Agnes b (lizard) on the wall of corridor . 4. Room - not clean enough , cockroach found 5. Staff - they are nice and helpful. Will ask if we needs airport tranport when we do check in.

Closest location to town centre, with a great pool
The new improvements to the room! Mainly the shower and the tv reception were both great additions that added that little extra to the comfort of the room.The staff as always as expected were of the highest calibre and were on hand to deal with every type of situation with an excellent grasp of the English language which is what you would expect but it necessarily the case at every hotel you visit in Thailand. Will definitely recommend and look forward to my next visit real soon.

Perfekt lokasjon og hyggelig betjening
Betjeningen er veldig hyggelige og hjelpsomme. Hotellet ligger perfekt til på Lamai Beach, da det ligger nært stranden, og rett ved lokalt sentrum. Vi hadde Garden Front rom, og da hørte vi minimalt med høy musikk og støy fra uteplasser på kvelden/natt. Rommene var helt greie. Vil definitivt bo her igjen neste gang vi er på Lamai, og anbefaler dette hotellet til alle som reiser til Lamai.

Bra hotell med perfekt läge på Lamai. Jätte trevlig personal som var väldigt hjälpsamma. Vi tänkte bo här i 5 dagar men det blev 2 veckor. Hörde inte av byggen eller hög musik men det är inte högsäsong nu så det är ganska lugnt.
