"Just that the bed has always a sand or something rough (ofcourse I do clean my feet before going to bed). Probably because of an open air. But everything is completely beautiful. Very relaxing, chill and with peace, so sweet huts! 1 min walk to beach."

"Yes very clean. Did have to ask for fresh towel after 3 days but we didn’t know we should put them on floor and had to ask for more soap and shampoo, only left once. The A/C stopped working and they had someone there right away. The staff is 5*, and are there to help in any service needed. Even for transportation on island and off. "

"Had a very pleasant stay at Ban Por Jai. Everything in the room was great and the location was excellent near the beach and a lot of restaurants. Friendly staff, Sata who was working in the evening was very helpful whenever anything needed to be fixed. Will stay here again whenever I return "

"Pretty decent budget hotel. We were reasonably comfortable there. The bungalows are detached which means you don't hear the noise of the neighbours which is good. They provide breakfast which is a bonus and a paid for laundry service which we used. There was also a small safe in the room which was good. The couple who ran it were nice. It's a bit out of town which meant it was quiet but a bit of a hike up a hill to get back. We didn't have a scooter so were walking. The rooms could probably do...

"Really good find, so good we stayed an extra night at a days notice. Seems the double rooms here get booked up quickly but the twin was easy to rebook. Spacious room, good modern shower room, good size balcony and super comfy beds. Cats galore here, im more of a dog person but was taken in by the 7 felines. Owners really lovely, messaged in advance of check in to see if we needed collecting from the car ferry at Koh Lanta Noi, left us chocolates on our NYD room clean. Highly recommended. "

"Nice people and pool. Short walk to the beach. A good value. We liked walking one block to the main drag to eat. Long Beach is our favorite on Koh Lanta. Prices were less resorts there."

"This could be a decent property if someone actually cared. Lots if stuff laying around. A toilet brush got thrown on the ground after use and stayed there for four days. Sheets and towels get washed and thrown on a couch until they are needed again. Not folded. Garbage and junk everywhere. Ants in our room constantly and no spray. The room was clean but the overall impression was not great. Would not stay here again. "

"I booked for a week and stayed 10 days longer. Great place to relax, swim, get massages, unwind. There are many small restaurants. The owners can arrange tours and transportation. "

"Overbooking, room full!!! With no advance notice. I'm local Thai. It's not that hard to give me a call. This should be better manage. Even full refund, this is not acceptable."

"It's not that the pictures on the site looks better, the pictures are not from the actual rooms. There was no water or shower, no TV, on the next room still no TV, no windows, no ventilation, wrong kind of bed than advertised, (a sgl bed instead of a queen bed, no frigobar, no tv. There is just 1 staff that's way overloaded with work, she tries her best, but don't expect to find her around the reception in case you need anything."

"If your looking for a camping lifestyle then stay here. We stayed in one of the top level A frames and had a wonderful stay. Would definitely recommend to bring your own snacks and drinks as well as food if you are a picky eater or have dietary restrictions as the menu is very limited and there are only certain hours to order food. It is a bit out of the way so be prepared for that but if you want peace and quiet away from the crowds this is the place. Lovely beach practically private to walk...

"Great quiet location on a beautiful beach. Beautiful garden and pool. Ganesh restaurant in front of villa serves tasty and fresh food. If you like wildlife and nature and are not afraid of bugs and monkeys, this is your place! Note that only 2 of the 3 bedroom has AC, one has fan."

"This was my first time staying at this resort, and I would stay here again. For the price, it’s a great place. The location is beautiful with a gorgeous beach with shallow clear water; great for snorkeling. The restaurant on the beach has delicious Thai food and lots of other options with very affordable prices and very nice staff. The view from our room was stunning. I love that the location is away from the crowds, but because it’s on a hill it could be challenging for people with mobility challenges. There’s a covered truck with seats at back of the truck, but that can be difficult to get in and out of as well. The room and bathroom were very clean and the drinks included were appreciated. The only complaint I would have is that the bed was a bit too hard for my taste. But again, the price, beach and views outweigh that and I would stay here again. "
