"This is an older style resort with lots of different spaces for children and adults including a small gym, games area etc. Unfortunately the spa treatment area was surrounded by stagnant water while I was there - otherwise it would have been a lovely setting. "We stayed here the night before our ferry trip to Koh Samui. We arrived late and left early, but we wished we spent more time here. The restaurant has a stunning setting and the beach looked very swimmable. We hear that you can sometimes see pink dolphins swimming right in the bay. There are no other guesthouses nearby so a walk down the street feels like you are really in Thailand, not farang- land. The owner was very friendly and drove us to the ferry pier for 500 baht. "

"great location, right the beach, with very nice views. The hotel is funky (the rooms are old ship containers for example), but confortable, clean and extremely friendly. The restaurant within the hotel serves good Thai food at ridiculously low prices, and the tables are directly on the beach (your feet in the sand, under the trees). I stayed there quite a few times, and thought it was quite a good deal."
