"If on a bike, be very careful on the access roads. Concrete is corroded and very steep hills. Very friendly staff and they will move your bike in and out. The road parking down to the pool is is corroded to soil now, so will carry dirt into the room. We were on the top floor and there were reptiles on the roof keeping us awake. We also saw a big legavaan just out on the access road and it ran off into the bush. There are also sea urchins and sea cucumbers in the sea and lots of them. We wore wet shoes whenever swimming. Food in general is double the price of cheaper places so we ate elsewhere. The room was spacious and nice king size bed and they clean it every day if you put the sign on the door. Very nice in general."

"Sunrise resort is a little dated in general but the rooms have being painted and modernised. Comfortable bed The attached restaurant is good and reasonable priced. The location is perfect right in the beach front. "

"This is a very under rated resort. The staff are very friendly and helpful. As soon as we got there we felt so relaxed. The resort itself is a bit off the main road so it’s a bit of a walk to anything but we just rented a scouter to rip around everywhere so it really wasn’t an issue. It’s actually nice that it’s away from everything as you get a more peaceful experience. The whole theme and landscaping of the resort is beautiful as well as an amazing pool. The restaurant is fantastic and really makes it hard to want to go anywhere else. Overall I had a great experience at this resort and would highly recommend it to anyone that is looking for a relaxing environment, good food, and great staff. Will definitely stay here again. "
