"A real gem! Amazing location, v thoughtful touches in the room, friendly and great staff. We only stayed one night but it will be long remembered. Sitting on the balcony overlooking the water and relaxing in the room, it was so restorative. Great dinner in the restaurant too. "

"This is a hidden gem. Cabanas in a beautiful setting on a moat by the river entrance to the lake. Almost empty because tourism hasn’t come back here like the rest of the country. Amazing staff, good food, great prices and they’ll arrange a tour to Thale Noi too. A highlight of our trip."

"I paid $6. You get what you pay for. I got a bed, a cold-water shower with towels, a toilet, and a fan (no airconditoning). I was traveling alone and that's what I wanted. The place is old and beat to death. Good location. The owner is an old unfriendly grumpy unsmiling guy - but I wasn't staying there to make friends. Noisy AF - and especially so early in the morning. "When I take the night train to Trang I always stay at Thumrin because it is big enough to always have a room available for early check-in. Decor and furnishings a little long in the tooth but who cares at this price. Corner rooms have nice view but all the windows can challenge the air-con."

Forget about staff speaking any English or foriner language. Not there even they say they speaking English there is no convenience stores near by to pick up anything . "The hotel is great value for money. Our room was clean and spacious, and was serviced every day. The location was extremely convenient and a great base for exploring Trang. Nothing to do with the hotel, but there really isn’t much to explore in Trang!"
