"It's a lovely resort, with comfortable well equipped bungalows, nice food at the restaurants, with plenty of choice and some nice pools and other facilities - but you'll have to be up early, if you want to sit by the pool, as towels go out, all over the loungers at or before breakfast time and there are not enough to go around!"

"This property was probably beautiful when it first opened but it is now run-down & needs maintenance. The location is stunning, as it's set within a national park. There are monkeys around, so beware! The staff were very friendly and helpful. The lounge access was well worth the upgrade as the afternoon tea and evening cocktail hour had a nice selection of items. Breakfast was just average for us but there is a lot of options to chose from. "

"It is a stunning, exceptional hotel. We booked a club room done bedroom suite. The room was the size of two rooms. We had a large king bed and a separate sitting area. "Hidden away from all the noise of restaurants and ferries, but not to far away for walking. Room and pool were great. View was amazing. You are surrounded my cliffs and jungle. Very much recommend as some of the other places are much more expensive. "

It is conveniently located on a lively street with plenty to do, including shops and a water taxi station within walking distance. "Beach access very limited around the island. This hotel has both direct beach access and loungers which is unusual. Unfortunately most of waterfront on the island is clogged with boats. Will say the wifi is very bad. We stayed in villa 129 and there was no wifi signal there! Overall a nice clean property with decent breakfast offerings. Very disappointed in the onsite restaurant - had dinner there on our last night. Would skip it for many other great options nearby. "

"Great view! Room was clean. Staff were incredibly nice. Only issue we had was this hotel is not walkable to anything. The hotel does offer a free shuttle to the “big fish” statue by the beach at the top of most hours but if you need a shuttle not at the top of the hour its 50 baht/person. They will also pick you up from here. The hill to get to the hotel is difficult for most grab drivers and excursion drivers so we had to take the shuttle to the bottom of the hill and meet our ride there. Not...

Great for kids!

"Shout out to David and Tina - the two remarkable folks managing the kids activities. You both made a huge difference to our kids and the overall trip - thanks so much! The hotel is nice - the breakfasts aren't anything you are going to write a review about - but they are fine and varied and not too bad. The restaurant at the beachside pool is very yummy if a bit expensive. Don't miss dinner there with the trio of young ladies singing and the fireshow - lots of fun. The pools were the highlight of the trip! We were happy to be in one of the poolside family suites and it worked really well for us. The downside as others have mentioned were the folks at the front desk - perfunctorily friendly and absolutely unhelpful - don't ask them for anything, don't lose anything, don't have any special requests because it's not going to happen. They may acknowledge an issue, but they won't actually do anything about it. Having said that - it's a nice place with nice people - you'll enjoy it."

Amazing place

"Loved the fact that resort was away from village. Boat to resort was included in stay. Breakfast was good. Beach was not busy. Several restaurants nearby but ate all but one meal at hotel as we found best value for money. Wife loved the cats wondering around and even bought cat food for them. Easy to get taxi boat if you want to go to village. Super friendly and helpful staff. Will recommend to anyone coming to phi phi "

"Absolutely exceptional! Such an amazing hotel with the most friendly and helpful staff! The pool was amazing, the rooms were clean, I have nothing bad to say! The location is a little out of the way but just a short walk from all the action and I liked being away from the craziness while still being close by. The staff at the front desk were amazing! I can’t sing their praises enough! Highly recommend! "
