not a class hotel as advertised
Booked this "luxurious, best hotel on the island" for 10 nights and lasted one. The airconditioner was blowing mouldy smelling damp air, informed reception 20 mins after checking in, asked for a candle or something to remove smell while we aired it out. Staff couldnt care less, no candles, I checked the roof where the airconditioners were located and completely covered with mould over everything including resort walls. The advertised wifi didnt work properly, the advertised cable tv wasnt working at all, the shuttle bus didnt actually belong to the hotel, it just randomly drove past. We were sent from the coffee shop to the resturant who sent us back to the coffee shop when we tried to purchase a drink to celebrate our holiday, there was an open bar completely unmanned ast the same time, we attended the resturant for the evening meal, drab and dirty, 6 items of seafood on the menu , of which 4 were unavailable, what food we recieved was excellent. The list wine list was also unavailable apart from the most expensive. we were the only customers in the resturant, i asked for a glass and they had to clean one. I have some experience with cooling towers and i believed this to be a completely unacceptable health risk. in regards to the air condtioning. Other side of the island is the only place to be. We recieved no refund, and no help no support from the the booking agents, this is a run down hotel where the staff are just going through the motions, It wont be open much longer
