"Fantastic hotel. Very clean, friendly staff, excellent breakfast and very spacious rooms with a little kitchen to prep your food. Comfortable beds and a nice little living area. Perfect place to stay overnight as we drove from UK to Sweden. Didn't get a chance to use the outside areas as it was winter and weather didnt allow it. But will 100% stay here again next time we pass."

The upper floor is climbed by a very steep ladder, absolutely unsuitable for the safety of children. No beds upstairs, only mattresses on the floor. Stale air. Nevermore."

"The hotel is visibly old and could do with a refurbishment. The room was spacious but primitive. The restaurant is recently overtaken by two younger chefs and is excellent. "The owner did everything. He was the best traditional innkeeper I have ever encountered. He was very helpful with checking ferry times etc for us. My wife was looking for a nativity and he put us in contact with shopkeepers who might be able to help. The building itself had lots of character and history. Breakfast was excellent.
