"The hotel is visibly old and could do with a refurbishment. The room was spacious but primitive. The restaurant is recently overtaken by two younger chefs and is excellent. The hotel and restaurant are seperate businesses. The hotel staff was kind but forgetful. My partner is intolerant to Gluten but despite having called in advance and been reassured that glutenfree bread was available, it was still forgotten twice at breakfast and long waiting as consequence. The nearby reventow museum has art in the garden which was.intressting even for us plebs. We we'll think back on this stay with a warm feeling. The hotel is actually an old clock shop made into a hotel to make use of a space left empty, and it's not just a room but a whole flat - very spacious and decorated quirkily with lots of old clocks around. "We stayed at Ebsen's after a long motorcycle ride and ferry crossing from Germany. The staff were very welcoming and warm. The hotel is old, but just what I expected. The room was large, but only single beds. Breakfast was very good. Good free parking out the back of the hotel. All in all a pleasant stay."
