"In a lovely quiet village off the beaten track. Rooms are large and comfortable. Main issue was with the outdoor light which was not blocked out by the blinds. Restaurant food is excellent however breakfast was disappointing. The granola and fresh fruit featured only half a strawberry! Free electric car charger was a big bonus. In better weather the outside terrace would have been delightful."

"Staff really friendly and helpful. Room was spacious, clean and well equipped. The walls are very thin though and it was a little noisy while the pub was open but as soon as the bar closed it was very peaceful. We did hear our neighbour showering at 6am though so worth noting if you are a light sleeper. Wasnt an issue for us. Accommodation was perfect for our short stay."

It was an ideal place to stay with easy access to Hay and to the cafe in the airstrip. We will return if we go back that way again."

"The accommodation is lovely, it’s in its own little courtyard, which is accessed via the pub, which is a friendly establishment. The only downside is that in common with a lot of Ludlow, the kitchen closed at 7.30, which meant I bought a takeaway from the Chinese round the corner and they missed out on a food and drink order."

"Wonderful stay in picturesque inn. You might need a guide to find your room, but, once found, it will comfortable and bright with all you need. Breakfasts are great, as is the restaurant, and the staff were cheerful and helpful! The location is an added bonus as it is very picturesque. "

The only thing that was a bit disappointing was the view from our room, we were looking out onto the kitchen roof, complete with ventilation ducts, didn’t spoil out stay but some screening would have been nice. We had a nice stay and the staff were lovely."

"We were walking the Shropshire Way and the White Horse was a nice place to fall into at the end of a long day's walk. The food was wholesome and the bedroom was quiet and comfortable. The bar area was popular with locals celebrating a football match win and this lasted until around 10:00 pm when it all subsided into a gentle placidity. The breakfast in particular was delicious."

"Friendliest people work at this Inn.we were made to feel valued and welcome. It was beautifully decorated for Christmas. We arrived early so we could spend the afternoon in Worcester. They called us a taxi and allowed us to park our cars there even though we hadn’t checked in. The rooms we had booked were basic, but comfortable, in an attached annexe not in the Inn itself.
