"This IS NOT a hotel... when I arrived at 10:00 PM, it was completely dark including the signage. Not a single person was in sight. Nobody answered the phone. No staff was on property. "There was a Golden Anniversary party the night we were scheduled to stay and the hostess noted music might go until 3 am. They found us a beautiful substitute location that my wife and I utterly enjoyed - and a very, very quiet night! I so appreciated the effort to find us great night of sleep."

"Lovely hotel. Only disconnect we experienced is the fact that we initially received most likely the worst room in the entire hotel. After double checking my reservation, I asked the front desk to check my reservation and sure enough, I was moved to one of the nicer rooms. That should not happen in the hear 2023! "

"Interesting place and very nice people. The only thing is that I arrived at 8 pm there was nobody, just a sign with a phone number and a key box. Hotels.com said open till 10 pm. There was not proper light to read the pincode so a smart phone was useable. But ot should be a bit more customer friendly in the november darkness. Peter"

"The room was on the next street in apartment block. No elevator and I was on the (top) 3rd floor. No carpets anywhere so very noisy when opening/ closing doors etc. room had a fan which was needed but no air con. No kettle or coffee machine. Clean/ new but too sparse for my liking. I was unable to book the ‘ nicer’ rooms at the actual hotel. A nice hotel overall but staying in apartment wasn’t to my personal liking. Sorry! "

"Friendly hotel but rather sloppy room service with cleaner leaving her own drinnk in our room for two days before I had to ask for it to be removed. Unwilling to accomodate breakfast earlier than 8am on Saturday but found that this could be done when another (and clearly more important )guest asked. Reasonable kitchen but rather overpriced. Everything was extra including bottled water in room but no tea/coffee making facilties"

"Great room, nice hotel building and great location for the ferry but bathroom was filthy with the shower area, around the floor and near the toilet looking like it hasn't been cleaned in years. Some sort of proudly-displayed "Green is the new clean!" but I'd strongly suggest going back to old-fashioned cleaning instead of letting nature take its course in a hotel bathroom.
