Ray is a great host--check in was a breeze and the location of the house is terrific-- close to town, but quiet--with great access to Bishop's Quarter--a lovely strand for walking- The view from the house couldn't be prettier. This would be a great spot for a family, as there is plenty of room. We will be back for sure."

"This house is set up perfectly for adults traveling with their school aged kids. Separate lounges with multiple doors in between allow for privacy and quiet. The only slight discomfort is the heat pump/sump pump that runs often but at uneven intervals. You soon learn to tune it out, but it can be distracting at first. Beautiful and comfortable home."

"The location of this property was ideal from quick access to Galway to the very good restaurants and pubs within a 10 min walk. The property is on the smaller size, perfect for my wife and I, but would also be ok with adding 2 children. Yvonne was fantastic! We would definitely recommend!"

"Stunning views from this beautiful updated home overlooking the fields of green, farms with sheep and cattle, the Burren and the Atlantic. Short drive into Doolin for dinner/lunch…both delicious, Russels and McDermotts Pub..recommended! Heading in to property from Lisdoonvarna on the very narrow…essentially single car road..I thought..oh my what have I done..we are truly isolated here, however once we arrived we were relieved to find that Doolin is only an EASY 4 mile drive away. "The house was very clean except for the carpets. There was a lot of room for our group. The rooms were large and adequately furnished. The kitchen utensils and cookware was a bit sparse. The rent was very reasonable, but I would rather pay a bit more and not have to “rent” towels or supply additional toilet paper or buy dish soap. "

"The kitchen was ill-equipped- no cheese grater- and the furniture had strips of veneer hanging off which needed to be glued back on. The beds were hard, and none of the strip lights above the basins worked, making shaving difficult. The quality of the fixtures and fittings was poor. However it was a pleasant enough cottage apart from the niggles."
