"Nice cozy hotel in town centre - short walking distance to main square, shopping street and two Gothic churches (seemingly always closed)…. Excellent rich breakfast, but ONLY till 9:30 sharp. Problems with PIN code based access that they change during your stay, and don’t inform about the new code so you can not get in during unmanned hours of the reception (which is all the time almost). Could not call number provided because of non-mobile roaming blocking the only option to get help. "The location is beautiful and the owner very friendly. We had one of the apartments, which is very spacious. The place is simplistic for a b&b. There was no provided soap and the shover door doesn’t close properly. This was disappointing. "

"A stunning countryside location. The apartment was lovely, lots of space inside and out. It had everything you could want for a family stay, from baking trays to children's colouring and teddes.Utilities, cups, glasses, chopping knives were all in immaculate condition. Siggi (landlord) was super helpful and let the children see and feed the farm animals. There was also a play area and bikes to borrow (which we used to go to the beach near by). "We found this place by chance and were glad we did. It was lovely! Our room was very spacious and there was a common kitchen for cooking which we took advantage of as there was a grocery store close by (short drive but would have been walkable). Lots of character. The couch in our bedroom was a bit shabby but we spent our time downstairs visiting with other guest and the manager. "

"Der var masse af spindelvæv og fluer på værelserne. Desværre heller ikke færdiggjorte lysinstallationer på værelserne så det var svært at orientere dig når det var mørkt udenfor. Udenfor heller ingen belysning så man selv skulle have pandelampe. Sengene hårde - manglede blød overmadras - kun en tynd billig en. Pleasant stay in Jr Suite

"Check in was easy. Some sloped ceilings were pointed out. Bathroom in jr. suite was the best we encountered of 3 stays in Denmark. Suite was roomy and comfortable. Enjoyed dinner at restaurant one night and drinks another. Food was excellent and portions were large. Only one vegetarian option or we would have dined there second night. Breakfast was a treat. View was lovely. Host made the stay. "

Hotels.com needs to improve their platform.

"The lodging was fine. But we had a situation upon arrival that was a bit uncomfortable as no one was available to receive us. Hence, this is more of a criticism of the platform hotels.com because we received an email that said the booking is confirmed and only much further down the email in small print did it notify that we needed to contact the property 24 hours in advance to make arrangements for access to property. Further down the line, it indicated only a phone number for special requests. The criticism is of the platform itself hotels.com that does not provide a vehicle for the property to be in touch with the guest for sharing details to access the property. No email was received from the property (unlike on other bookings) and only by chance were we able to reach the property owner. "

Gloss but lots of small issues

"Great reviews so booked at short notice, wish we hadn’t. The room was spacious but had a number of annoying or safety issues. First of all the blinds didnt go all the way down leaving bright sunlight streaming directly onto the bed. The bathroom was awful after a shower, just like a skating rink. The breeze block step into the building was wobbly. The worst was the electric lead, plugged in, which then trailed across the corridor, and out the front door, twice we nearly went flying when we tripped over it"
