When I arrived, I was told by the person, who checked me in that the room I had booked, the Classic room, only had a shared bathroom a fact I had not noticed at the reservation. "We enjoyed no less than 2 stays with Johnny in February. He was very friendly and accommodating, even gave my son a room on his own. Further, we had to arrive rather late, due to an emergency, and he also ensured that we got locked into our room. The rooms are clean and bright, and even had a small desk for me to work from. "I had a good night staying at Anette's place, but travellers should be aware that the bathroom is shared with other guests and faces directly onto the communal area - I had to wait to use it in the morning, and then the other guest was having a long conversation right outside the door with Anette which meant I couldn't feel relaxed! But the bed, the room itself, the bathroom and the kitchen facilities were all good, as was the garden which I was able to sit in. "

Our room was very spacious and there was a common kitchen for cooking which we took advantage of as there was a grocery store close by (short drive but would have been walkable). Lots of character.
