"This was easy to find, just off motorway so ideal as a stopover on way back to UK. We booked late so on arrival just had to pick up an envelope containing a key and check in form for the type of room we had booked. As others have said the rooms are tired especially the bathrooms but were clean. Bed comfy n good shower. Felt strange having no staff around. Breakfast, which we paid for, was not served until 800 am, and we had to leave for the airport at 700 am, so received no breakfast. Not even coffee was available at 700 am, as far as we could tell. No gasthaus staff were present when we checked in at 600 pm or when we left at 700 am, and the restaurant was not operating. "

"The location is quite remote, meaning it’s easy to get by car and a bit more complicated by train. But that’s what I wanted. The rooms are excellent. New and smell fresh wood. Mine had a little kitchen with all the cups, plates and forks. Breakfast - traditional German, no problems. Good coffee and fresh eggs. Very quite. Maybe the only disadvantage is that it’s hard to reserve it and price is a bit high, but it’s so worth it. "

"Reines Gästehaus. Restaurant geschlossen. Zimmer sind wohl frisch Renoviert und gut ausgestattet. Fernseh-Empfang war schlecht ( Antennenkabel ). Es fehlte ein Mühleimer in der Küche. Leider direkt an der Straße und für mich dadurch etwas zu Laut. War der einzige Gast im Haus, etwas gruselig. "

"Toll designtes Hotel, leider ohne eigenes Frühstück. To go Kaffee im empfohlenen Lokal im gleichen Gebäude war an dem Tag nicht möglich. Im Zimmer durchgehend laute Belüftung, was die Nachtruhe etwas stört. Stadtzentrum ist in 30 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Insgesamt ein tolles Hotel und ein schöner Aufenthalt. "
